6-9.SPACE is a creator tournament and voting platform. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We keep things straightforward — we collect only what we need to operate the platform.

What Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to operate the platform:

Creator public profiles

When a creator is added to the platform (by request via our public form), we collect their public social media information — handle, display name, follower count, profile photo URL, and platform-level metrics — from publicly accessible sources. No private account data is ever accessed.

Voting data

When a visitor votes, we store an anonymised hash of their IP address along with a session token to enforce per-day voting limits and prevent abuse. We do not store raw IP addresses long-term, and we do not link votes to user accounts.

Payment data

Gold votes are purchased via Stripe Checkout. All payment card data is collected and processed exclusively by Stripe — we never receive or store your card details. We only receive a confirmation of a successful transaction and the associated vote amount.

Contact & submission forms

If you submit a creator nomination or contact us via a form on the platform, we collect the information you voluntarily provide (e.g. social handle, email). This data is used solely to process your request.

How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data strictly for platform operation:

Platform operation: To display creator profiles, rankings, clashes, and tournaments.
Voting integrity: To enforce daily voting limits and prevent automated abuse using anonymised IP hashes.
Payment processing: To verify completed gold vote purchases via Stripe webhooks.
Security & compliance: To detect and prevent fraudulent activity, and to comply with applicable law.

Payment Processors

Any payment card information you use to purchase gold votes is collected and processed directly by our payment processor. These parties may use your payment data in accordance with their respective privacy policies:

Data Storage & Security

All platform data is stored on a private server located within the European Union. We apply standard technical and organisational security measures — access controls, encrypted connections (TLS), and regular backups. No personal identifiers beyond anonymised IP hashes are stored in relation to votes.

Data Retention

Creator public profile data is retained for as long as the creator is active on the platform. Anonymised voting data (IP hashes, session tokens) is retained for up to 90 days to support abuse investigation. Payment transaction records are retained as required by applicable Slovak and EU accounting law (typically 10 years).

Your Rights

As a data subject under GDPR (if you are located in the EU/EEA), you have the following rights:

Right of access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data. For creator profiles, this means removal of the profile from the platform.
Right to object: You may object to the processing of your data where we rely on legitimate interests as a legal basis.

Cookies & Browser Storage

We do not use cookies. We use browser localStorage to store your voting state locally on your device only. For full details, see our Cookie Notice.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices change or to reflect new legal requirements. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
